The NHA uses the DIBS system to run our consessions opportunities. All volunteer opportunities will be available through the DIBS menu.  To get started, please do the following:

CLICK HERE to begin viewing and claiming the available volunteer opportunities! Or go to the "DIBS" tab located at the top of the page.

How to "claim" an item? LOGIN (located in the upper right hand corner of the screen) and enter username and password. Click on the DIBS tab.  When you find an item that works, simply click on that item and select "claim this DIB item". You may filter your choices by opportunity or by date.

How to view "claimed" DIB items? If you sign up for an opportunity online and can't remember the information, simply log on with your username and password (located in the upper right hand corner of the screen) and click on the DIBs tab and then select the player and you will see all information for the season and your completions there.

How do you get credit for your session?

Once you arrive at your session there will be a sign in sheet, sign in and complete the responsibilities of your shift. That's it! The DIBs coordinator will complete the rest (please allow 7 days for these to get completed).

What to do if you selected a duty to work and you can't make it? Log in with your username and password (located in the upper right hand corner of the screen) and then click on DIBs. View all of my currently claimed DIB items. Select the duty you want to cancel and click on "cancel claim". Each task will have a stated cancellation period which is typically 7 days. Once you've cancelled the duty, this will then be put back into the pool of volunteer opportunities.  If a DIB is claimed and not fulfilled added hours in the amount of two times the claimed amount will be included on your required amount. If you are outside of the 7 day cancellation please email the DIBs coordinator.

Here are some instructions for how parents with two separate accounts can complete dib items for a child on one account: http://help.sportngin.com/customer/portal/articles/1571600-how-do-i-link-two-sport-ngin-profiles-together-

DIBS Policy

The NHA members operate the concession stand at the Northfield Arena. Concession sales benefit all NHA members, so everyone is expected to work some hours during the year.

  • Each family in the Association is required to work a minimum of twenty (20) DIBS hours during the current season for Sr. Mites and above. Mini-mites families (with no older siblings in hockey) are required to work a minimum of 10 hours.
  • Each family in the Association will write a separate check to the NHA for $1,000 at registration for Sr. Mites and above and $500 for mini-mites (with no older siblings in hockey). Checks will be destroyed or returned  to all families who complete the 20 hour requirement. The entire 20 hour minimum must be met for the check to be returned/destroyed.
  • Checks will be collected at the arena during an NHA event or may be dropped in the NHA drop-off box in the arena's front entryway. Players will not be allowed to skate if we have not received this check.
  • If the 20 hour minimum is not met by the end of the DIBs season the $1,000 check will be deposited by the NHA.
  • Families will have the opportunity to opt out of your concession obligation with a $1,000 buy out during the registration period only.
  • Must be 18 or older to be in the concession stand area.
