Hockey legend Jim Craig, goaltender for the 1980 USA Gold-winning "Miracle on Ice" Olympic hockey team, will be speaking at a fundraiser for the Northfield Hockey Association on Saturday, September 29th at the Northfield Middle School Auditorium.  Mr. Craig will speak briefly to the kids at 10:00 am, followed by a meet-and-greet until 11:45 am.  Doors open at 9:00 am.  A raffle will be held for an autographed Jim Craig USA Hockey jersey and 2 Jim Craig autographed NHA jerseys. 
General admission is $15 per person; a suggested donation of $10 per person for NHA registered families is appreciated.  No sports memorabilia collectors please.
This event is made possible by an anonymous donor who believes the Northfield Hockey Association promotes positive values, athletic achievement and sportsmanship, is a great experience for kids and families, and is an all-around fun program and fabulous resource in the community.  The Northfield Hockey Association is open to boys and girls ages 4 - 15, and offers a free Mite program.
