SafeSport and Background Screening Report

NHA is committed to creating a safe and positive environment for its participant’s physical, emotional, and social development and to ensure that it promotes an environment free from abuse and misconduct. As part of this commitment NHA will be following the recommendations and guidelines defined in the USA Hockey SafeSport Program Handbook.

All Coaches, Team Managers, Locker Room Monitors, Board Members, Coordinators, and any other volunteer that will have regular contact with or authority over NHA players are required to complete the following registration steps. Follow the steps on the Volunteering/DIBS page to complete your requirements. It is strongly recommended to get a head start on these requirements early in the season or pre-season to ensure you are compliant. Lack of compliance will result in being unable to do the role (ex. a Coach will not be allowed on the ice).

Please note this report is NOT automatically generated and is updated periodically by our registrar. If you do not see your name on the list below, then you need to email your updated USA Hockey number for the 2026-27 Season to the NHA Registrar.
